This is my 3rd RV I have had Ford, Dodge, now a Chev 454! I am recent widowed (Aug 2020)! I'm going to hit the road again. I have been twice over a year on the road!

We had such a active life! Two three dances a week! A overnight stay at a casino! Travel every other month! I was surprised to have 443 days at sea with the Cruise lines! We took out the motor home, a year latter 14000 miles we parked it! We never put our suit cases away! A bedroom was dedicated to our travels for the last ten years. Even in the final days Betty would see the luggage and ask where we were going! Did she have the tickets or me!! I finally had to put them away! It hurt so much to have her ask!

But I need some help hitting the road again! I got one estimate for the windshield and it cost more than my rig!

Sorry for the loss of your co-pilot. As for the windshield, I had both of mine replaced due to cracks and could only get them ordered by the manufacturer of my RV. The manufacturer had given the molds to one company only - took 6 weeks to get the glass, which was not flat.
There is a company that is located in FL that can get most windshields - RVGlass.com

Don't know if you solved your windshield issue, but that rvglass.com is Duncan Systems Motorhome Glass and they are the best I have found so far. My coach is a 2008 and the manufacturer is out of business, but Duncan has a database and found my windshield specs. Because of the curvature and shape, they refused to sell it to me, but did make an oversized piece which a local RV repair shop is going to cut and install. Obviously, they cannot do the work on site and I have to leave it with them for four days. I worked with my insurance provider (Progressive) to schedule everything and it should be done soon. Costs are high, so far $3k, but it will get me back on the road.
