Winter 2024-2025 travel?

Florida again for us, we leave NYE for Camp Margaritaville, Auburndale 30days, Fort Wilderness at WDW 30days, Sugarloaf Key, Keys, 25 days, Santa Rosa Resort, Navarre, 20 days then back home late April to welcome new granddaughter currently in the oven.

We'll be pointed south at the end of December headed to SoCal, Quartszite, Yuma and Mexico. Going home at the end of April, we'll stop at the south rim then decide which way to get back to our summer home in Birch Bay. Might go north through Utah or go the other way through Nevada. The plan is to be boondocking at various BLM locations and other no cost over-nights about 80% of the trip. When we need to find a place to plug in, it's usually to dump, replenish and do laundry.

Since we live in an area where the weather is often fairly pleasant in the winter, we do not have to escape. It is easy to watch the weather for a good forecast, and head to the ocean or wine country for a few days when we are in the mood. It is wonderful to just be able to get reservations easily, especially during the week. Love to travel when it is fairly uncrowded. We plan our long trips for spring and fall. Judy D

The Glades RV Resort and Marina, same place we go every year and have a lease. Got here Wednesday. Will stay until late May.
Stopped at Cornersville TN, Troy Alabama, and Lake City Florida on the way down. Then went to Coach Glass in Lakeland and got a new windshield put in. Spent 2 nights there. Then down the road about 8 miles to the place that installed my diamond shield, and finally got it fixed. Then here to the Glades for the winter.

Burned about $550 in diesel getting here.
