Hoping to make a road trip starting late January thru February from Indiana to Death Valley, CA. Rather new with our Class A and would like to avoid snow. Appreciate any suggestions and what to expect. Thanks.

At this time of year, you will hit snow somewhere along the way; guaranteed! Pay close attention to weather trends and be prepared to hunker down to wait out bad weather. Then, I suggest you stick to the major interstates that the truckers use. And, be aware that with the Covid-19 situation as it is, you may encounter travel and camping restrictions in some states. Finally, a lot of campgrounds close during the winter months, so plan ahead.

Good luck.
