Winter Storage/Diesel Fuel Stabilizer

What is the current school of thought regarding fuel & winter storage? Store with full tank of fuel?? Add a fuel stabilizer? Any preferred stabilizer?

I store full and use Diesel Kleene anti-gel:

Ditto - Diesel Kleen white bottle (anti-gel) and Bio Kleen. Fill the diesel and drive for a few miles to mix and run the generator and Oasis during the drive to get the treated fuel to them. I fill the DEF. Different schools of thought on that, but my thought is less air space in the tank for evaporation. I might think differently on DEF if I stored outdoors with significant freeze potential.
