Sounds disgusting, right? When in Oshkosh, WI for the EAA AirVenture airshow they have these critters. I didn't try it, didn't sound good. I heard they were recommended when I saw someone ask for food recommendations on Facebook, still a no for me. Then I go out to dinner with @Ddmo and they tell me they are good. Sure enough on our last night, they are full on YUMMMMMM!

OH, yeaahhh!! The fresher they are, the more they squeak against your teeth.
Really high in sodium though, if that's an issue for your health.

They are one of our favorite reasons for going to the Harley celebrations in Milwaukee over the years.

Had them at every meal😀

They are darn tasty.

Next thing we know, you'll be wearing a wedge of cheese on your head. Never say never...

They had them at the Tiftonia (TN) Cracker Barrel for ever so long. That particular CB is a test restaurant for many new items that may or may not end up on their menus. Although the first place I ran across cheese curds was Schwan's Food Delivery Service. We ate them a lot. We like mozzarella cheese sticks and the cheese curds are just a variation but made with a soft mild FRESH cheddar cheese (not cured like most block and wheel cheddar is). I like my cheddar cheese curds dipped in ranch dressing.

You DO know how cheese is made?

That is for the midnight snack. Save a trip to the refrigerator. NOT approved by the Klingon High Counsel, btw.
