As I work from my mobile office seeking new views out the office window, the chair I use is extremely important. I've tried brining my Hermon Miller Aeron with me, works well but the arm rests make things less ideal. I've been through probably a half dozen chairs, the latest addition arrived yesterday, which I remembered this morning, so I just picked it up and assembled it and am sitting my buttocks in it now typing this. It comes with arm rests, okay, and thankfully are not required for installation like happened with about #2 or #3 I tried. So I assembled the latest one without arm rests and am enjoying it thus far. Good ergonomics, the back tilts back and forth which is what my prior one lacked putting me in odd positions to stretch my back as yeah, I don't always sit straight.

So far so good....aaaahhhh, could this be "the one?"

IMO that chair is horrible, we have a bunch at my office and I hate them.

not sure on your size or build. I am 6'1" 197lbs (now) but when I was 450lbs I had a hell of a time finding a good chair.

I found this one when I started losing weight, and when I got below 300lbs, I am still using it since 2021 and it is one of the most comfortable chairs I have ever used.

however; we are all different.

best thing you can do is hit up an office supply store (not office max, an actual office furniture store) and check out what they have and see if you can find it cheaper online, that is how I found that chair.

As I sit at the dinette I have minimal room so I have a narrow selection of what works. So far so good but time will tell and any pain as a result will speak to me. Your selection looks nice but I try to avoid armrests with the dinette situation.

This is what I was using prior to the latest and was nice as it was minimal, but it doesn't tilt so that made me get in strange positions which caused back pain.

These are others I tried, and either returned of gave away. I know I set one out near a dumpster at Fort Collins KOA with a sign on the back "FREE" and it was gone before I knew what happened.

that first one just screams back pain looking at it.

as for the arm rests, you don't have to install them. I have mine removed as I have a H.O.T.A.S setup where they would go (that is removable when not in use), so I can play my flight/space VR sims.

I will let you know :) Wouldn't surprise me...at least it's closer to my Aeron.

Almost 24 hour review - really like the new chair. It is actually very comfortable, conforms to my big'ole'butt just fine, tilt back with adjustable tension is just what I needed, lumbar support is adjustable, all the way down is where I like it. As I straddle carpet and tile, it is remaining level which is great. Thumbs up from me.

Don't forget to change the wheels so they don't eat up your carpet and tile.

Thanks for the reminder, have them at home. Will swap them out.

Didn't think I'd find a thread like this on here but glad I did. I'm in the market, yet again and I've also tried the Herman Miller chairs, which ones I don't remember. They were always good to start with and always expensive. All in for something like this with better wheels for under $270 certainly sounds like it's worth a shot.
