If, or when, this becomes possible, I would expect the machine to have better sensory perception (visual and audio ) than a human plus quicker reaction times. As for being able to recognize an animal or object, Google Lens has come a long way.but would it brake for wildlife?
I guess that would depend on how it was programmed. If I were the programmer, then it would be squirrel squished as my wife says I have no compassion. If it were she, then I'm afraid there probably would be no such thing as a bug spattered windshield.How would it handle a morality decision whether to hit a squirrel or swerve and potentially create a more fatal situation? So many nuances.
