Yet another new member...

My name is Don. I"m brand new to RV life. I'll be in Texas this summer with a Grand Designs Imagine, 31', that I'll tow with a Silverado. My immediate questions involve improving the A/C to endure the Waco Summers.
I'm not eager to cut holes in the wall or make major mods of that sort, so I'm seeking suggestions appropriate for utter newbies.

Welcome aboard! My only suggestion for enduring a Texas summer is to head north! . I used to live on Vancouver Island in Canada and we had a lot of Texan visitors up for the summer hiding from the heat.

Welcome from Mississippi! Not much you can do about the Texas heat, but there are reflective products that you can put in the windows to help a little. Are you going to be at a permanent site or a campground?
