Greetings to one and all.
I am just another geezer, but unlike a lot of folk, I am in the process of building an RV park.
I am extremely interested in how other parks do things, & what works well, as well as what I really should avoid.

My current concern is providing free internet access to visitors. "wifi" is the generic standard, but from my time as a WISP, there are soooo many issues around wireless networks. Are newer RV's made to avoid the wifi signal blocking of the metal shell of the RV? is it common to have an Ethernet connection on the utility pedestal, with a router inside the RV? Some body help me out here, please!

By the way, my position is not "boss", but "Flunky", I get to do all the stuff we can not hire some one else to do. Or in so many cases, I get to fix what the contractor goofed up on. Maybe I should change my log in name.
Any way, happy thoughts, happy travels ( & stays ) to all. CE

Never saw ethernet on the pole. Decided most campground internet is useless, so, I bring my own. Cable TV, now that is a plus.

Some offer paid internet through a cable modem that you get from them.

Yah! I would change my handle.

Most people I know won't use park supplied internet. You are unique and that should be your focus. That unique quality is what will draw the crowds.

If you're not then you better be close to something that will draw them in.
