I have purchased a 2023 Coachmen Cross trail XL 20CB and have not been able to find where the fresh water tank drain valve is. Dealership was not helpful and information on line is not specific enough. Very frustrated. Does anyone know where it is for my model?

Welcome to RVForums! Are you talking about the sewer connection or the tank drain?

For the fresh tank drain, I can only refer to my coach but it's behind the wet bay panel, on the floor, accessible but hard to see or know what it does. It's likely near your fresh tank and you should be able to find the drains from under your coach and trace up from there.

Do not know where or what a wet bay panel is. A knowledgeable friend looked under the RV and was not able to find them. We found the low point drain. Maybe this is also the fresh water tank drain valve too?.

Sorry for the confusion, I don't know your RV which is why I moved your post to the Coachmen owners area. If you can attach pictures that can help members here better assist you.

On our Concord, the fresh tank drain is located with the low point drains. Different rig but ours is accessible inside access panel under the refrigerator.

On my 2023 Leprechaun the drains and water pump are accessible under the drawer at the bottom of the oven. I have found Coachmen Customer Service to be very helpful, and quick to respond. They have sent me the plumbing schematic as well as wiring diagram for the tv's, and links to download the manual for my nav system and generator. They seem to have documentation available for all systems why they don't just include
it for the owner is beyond me. This is my seventh rv beginning with a pickup camper, various towables, and two other motorhomes. Every one had an owners manual that provided at least basic information.

I have my own opinion!
I think it should be obvious why a manufacturer would want you to go to their website everytime you need to get a fix for your ailing RV!!!

They have the opportunity while your fixing the rig to introduce you to the thought, you might just do better buying the ones they are showing you!!!

It's along the same lines at a car dealership. You must go through the show room to get to the parts department, or waiting room, while waiting on repairs.

My response is not cynical, it's all about marketing.
