1989 Barth Regal
VERY rare, it’s the only one ever built with a drivers door.
Gas powered 454 Chevrolet, P30 chassis
77,300 miles, located in Tehachapi Ca.
Sleeps 2, 6 foot jackknife bed, fully self contained, a lot of nice features, and is top of the line quality throughout. We’ve spent more than 2 years and invested a lot restoring it, and it is mechanically excellent, and mostly original. The whole bus has been inspected and all work was done professionally from bumper to bumper.6 new Michelin tires, partial new paint, new batteries, all new upgraded PEX banded plumbing, DICOR sealed roof (no leaks) , Roadmaster heavy duty anti sway bars, Firestone airbags, all vacuum lines, belts, hoses, ignition wires, plugs, ACCEL distributor, brake master cylinder,Thetford toilet with sprayer (never used), Onan 5000 generator starter, fuel pump, plugs, filters, and way too much more new, and reconditioned to list here. If interested you can call, and I can send more pictures , and give details and answer questions about it.
I was employed as an electrician in RV manufacturing, and can tell you that Barths are built correctly, aircraft grade aluminum skin, and aluminum framework is FAR superior to fiberglass glued onto plywood. This coach will be on the road long after the competition is in the scrapyard. It’s life has been local to the dry Bakersfield Ca. area, and we’re the 3d owners. We have the original sales documentation, owners book, original blueprints. Interior has NOT been “upgraded” because it’s always been maintained, it’s a time capsule of the 1980’s colors and style. You won’t find particle board or other self destructing materials in it,no fancy big screen tv’s, or troublesome slide outs or computer controlled electronics
This bus is ready to go traveling… the repairs and work have already been done.
We’re asking $40K and the price is negotiable.
