I have a 2012 Lance 1575, single axle trailer, where the water pump (ShureFlo) runs continuously and I reduced water flow from my shower and faucets. I borrowed a friends know good water pump and when I installed it the problem remained. I also replaced my on demand water heater with a 4 gallon tank heater and just to be sure I bypassed the water heater and the problem persisted. The strange thing is that when I run the pump I can hear water circulating in the fresh water tank below my...
Thread 'New to us 2018 Newmar New Aire 3343'
Sold our previous RV, a Georgie Boy Swinger, around 2005. Decided to get another on. This one is quite an upgrade. Has so much stuff, hope not too much on it. I have a lot to learn. This look like a good forum, I will probably be asking many questions.
It happens to be located just the right spot ... for our first nighton our usual outbound route so we have stayed there several times. It has a Walmart and all kinds of places within a mile or two. We stayed there again last night as we begin our summer journey. I think it's the best RV restroom/shower/laundromat I've ever seen . 3 private bathrooms with showers right off a beautiful laundry room. They provide paper towels in a pan spray dispenser. They have a handheld shower. I can't...
Considering swapping fog lights to a yellow 70mm Morimoto LED fixture. Main headlights are now LED and would like all front facing road lights to be LED. The yellow type might help reduce moisture droplet glare some. The main head lights generate enough glare at night with fog. https://www.morimotohid.com/morimoto-70mm-universal-xb-led-fog-lights?quantity=1
Thread 'Never say never!'
I have found my next project. I said I would NEVER BUY ANOTHER MH! And I am now eating my words.
Thread 'Deer Springs finally!!'
Pulled in to beautiful Deer Springs After a 400 mile jaunt. Met Jim & Trish what wonderful hosts. We are on site #9. Many thanks for Jim setting up my internet. Let me tell you NC has some of the highest mountains to climb that I ever drove. When you go up it lasts for miles and miles. On our last leg on S US 441 that had to be at least a 7 % grade and run for 5 miles. It starts at a stop light so you don’t have a running start. I was doing 35 miles an hr in 2 nd gear when I crest the top...
Thread 'Harvest Host at Pine Drive Farm VA'
Well we put on 350 miles today then it’s Miller Time. And it is hot, found out 30 amp service will not power both my ACs. Still have 400 miles to go to hit Deer Springs. Only have one bar. I don’t think pic will send.
Thread 'New Raptor 352, new Fiance' and first 5th wheel'
We've had an Ember 26RB and have loved it best TT I have had. Been really wanting a toy hauler for our dirt bikes and mountain bikes. So I said goodby to our beloved Ember, picked up a new Raptor and fiance' all in the same day, what better way to propose than with a new toy hauler
Thread 'Back to Deer Springs'
Site 3 this year, weather is good. So much to see in the area. We hope to be back for a fall visit. Andrea says we need to stay at each site.
Thread 'New Hughes Watchdog'
Received an email from Hughes today. Appears they have incorporated boosting into the Watchdog platform now. Looks interesting. https://www.powerwatchdog.com/voltage-boosters

We're planning an adventure to visit someone in Driggs. It's on the western side of the Tetons. Our pact is not to drive more than 4 hours in a day, and take our good ole time, stopping at nice places on the way. Doesn't look like there's much thru Nevada, to Wells, where you head north to Idaho, but maybe someone here has found a nice stop, or two, along that way? We have heard ID has some awesome nature and places to check out. The route thru NV ends up in Twin Falls. I see the snake...
in a travel trailer? we have a 20 ft, travel trailer, and are considering swapping to a tankless water heater, we have one in the house, and its the best thing since ice cream! thx
Thread 'Painting plastic'
Attached is what my exterior shower compartment looks like. Dull, dingy, and impossible to clean. Tempted to mask off and spray paint it. Rustoleum has a top notch paint spray that I've used in the past. Anyone have the sme and attempted to clean it up and/or paint?
So I noticed almost all RVers have them. Has anyone gotten the "Patriot Power Generator 2500X. Or any of their generators? If you have any kind of generators can you tell me the ones that work for you and why. Also, can you tell me the ones you got rid of and why. I am trying to get my ducks in a row for when I buy one. Thank you for all your RV wisdom. Have a blessed day from Texas.
Hi Neal, wife n I full time all summer, I’m retired and she has 3-4 years left to finish up a 25 year teaching career.I have been downsizing for the last 2 years, we have a yard sale every April and what’s left is dropped off at a local auction. We have already learned full time RVing is 1.not cheap, 2.Allot of work 3. Can at times be very frustrating especially with rig issues and service while on the road.We will never be full timers. I was curious about your 1800 watts of solar, is that...
So I was thinking this morning...why are Dometic air conditioners equipped with Micro-Air Soft Starts outlasting stock Dometic units for RV's? Then I remembered long ago when my residential A/C unit had a capacitor failure which seems to be the most common cause of failure in air conditioner units, from what I recall. So is this a simple situation of the capacitor in the Micro-Air unit is more reliable and longer lasting than what Dometic is using? Secondly, I wonder how many replaced a...
