I am doing a custom recreational (legally 'utility') conversion on a 1998 Volvo V70 wagon. Here is my dedicated thread for that. I just need to know what all I need for the power system and how to make it work. Whether I build a basic 15/20A charging system or an upgraded 30A (PREFERRED) type, I need input on what all I need to make it happen. I plan to have 2 large special batteries (no battery format, chemical type, or numericals here for sake of teasers). I want to use an AC to DC...

I am installing a Thetford toilet and black tank in a cargo truck/van and want to know does it matter if I use ABS or pvc pipe.I won't have much length of pipe just a short piece from toilet straight down to the black tank and on the tank a waste valve which is the ABS material. Can the pvc be glued to the ABS valve, should I get all ABS pipe for the install and what size for the vent pipe is suggested.Normally the vent pipe in all installs I have seen like houses/campers the vent pipe goes...
Good afternoon. I have been researching internet usage for RVers. I have narrowed it down to two of them. Roamlink and Travlfi. I would like to know from those two that use these to give me the pros and cons for you. I’m going to be working remotely if that helps. Thank you in advance.
Mountain Views at Rivers Edge RV Resort Giving thoughts to another visit to this location. It has been over 5 years since my last visit. Has anyone stayed there recently (meaning 2024) ? How was the wifi availability? I use T-Mobile for my internet. Also where else would be cool and beautiful ( July-August) in Colorado?

2019 Newmar Bay Star 3414. This TV is on a "televator". We cannot get to the back of it to find the model number, and the prior owners didn't provide a manual for either of the TV's. We couldn't get to the plugs in the back behind the fireplace. So we busted out a back wall of a tiny cupboard. Why? I read a reset option for this issue. Unplug the unit, then immediately hold the power button for 30 seconds, then replug it back in after a full 60 sec. Worked enough last nite for us to play a...
I have a 2022 Tiffin Phaeton, 40 IH, Onan 10,000, Generator runs good, coolant level is good, oil is good, had full service oil & filter, fuel & air filter, 1 month ago. But it just shuts off with no warning, but will restart ok, but shut off again in 30 minutes or less. No gauges for generator for temp or oil pressure, all ok until last trip, then started this.

Thread 'Advice to Upgrade House Batteries'
Hi Everyone. New to this forum. I bought a new KZ Durango Gold G382MBF fifth wheel last year, 2025 year model. It came with a solar package that has 2x 200watt solar panels, a 30A MPPT solar charge controller and a 2000 watt sine wave inverter. To be honest, I don't really know what any of that means, just sharing what the brochure said explaining the solar system that came with the trailer. My question is about upgrading the 2 batteries that came with it. I have run out of battery before...
I have. 20 year old Suburban furnace. The furnace ignites then shuts down after 10 seconds then ignites again for 10 seconds and shuts down. Is the problem the flame sensor or control board. Both were replaced 2 years for the same symptoms and worked fine until now
We have enjoyed using the Pepwave in our Ventana for ??? years now. We still use an AT&T (old connected car "Mobley" sim) for 4g on the road. And we redirect to our home wifi when at home. We added a STARLINK gen 3 a couple of summers ago for use when traveling. I am having a devil of a time making STARLINK play nice on our Pepwave Coach network. I have used WAN cabling, I have used redirect WIFI. We wind up crashing or getting 8MBPS when the STARLINK tests alone at over 130MBPS...
