I'm 1-2 weeks away from departure to unknown for 1-3 months. During this trip I'm determined to figure out my more streamlined computer setup. I love love love my PC towers but I hate the space it takes in the RV and the power requirements which are not ideal for boondocking, etc. even though I have a solid solar and LiFePO4 setup. I still need to conserve power as the sun doesn't always shine :) This trip I am taking along my usual PC tower which will be on standby but I'm taking two new...
I am installing a Progressive Dynamics PD4045 to replace the 25 year old Centurion CS3000 in my 1999 Jayco popup, and I have a question. The AC side of things is working, all of the outlets are as they should be, but I can't get the 12VDC to work. Since there are no installation instructions as far as how to use the black wires coming from the back of the converter, I assumed that the black wire coming out of the back of the converter should be connected to the black wire from a 12VDC light...
We just bought a generator/inverter and after going through the manufacturers instructions I found lots of safety admonitions including one to not run the genny in the bed of the truck and 20 feet from a truck or tent or camper and I was wondering if all the experience here could inform me as to the risks involved. I am an auto mechanic and understand about co and co2 and keeping the engine away from where there are people but I would think if the truck with the running genny is far enough...
Spokane Washington has...... Spokane Hoopfest, Largest 3 on 3 outdoor basketball tournaments in the world. Very exciting to attend or be a team, prizes too. Plenty to see and do there too in Spokane. Lots of history. i oust to live in Spokane for 11 years. Totally worth exploring.
Every time I go there, I do this... 11 miles of beach. Every year Unknown Lincoln City residence hide a couple thousand Authentic certified Blown glass balls from all over the world from great glass blowers above the waterline. You don't know who they are and what time they put them out. You go along the sand looking in any nooks and crannies for them. They are hidden pretty well but people do find them. I see people walking back to the Visiting Center with them and I ask them how they found...
If your Military, you can get the Free pass to enter into National parks. Called, "The Military Lifetime pass". No charge for the card. Get at any open National Park with Military ID of any kind. Call them to make sure they can issue where you are going. If anyone not military goes, you can also get the other cards, different ones for different situations. Can save money for all sorts of things at parks depending on if parks let you use it there. If that makes any sense. Look up online "The...
Thread 'ThermoPro meat thermometer?'
Okay, probably my fault but I'm smoking two racks of beef ribs today on the new Oklahoma Joe offset smoker and the meater is dead, probably just had a dead battery in the charger base but I'm without a temp probe other than manual. First world problems! :) But in watching YouTube videos on offset smokers I'm seeing quite a few of these ThermoPro contraptions. Anyone use them and have an opinion...
