Many of us are traveling with dogs. When we arrive at the RV site, I will get out to look the site over. The dogs are also excited and will jump on the drivers chair to see what I am doing. At least twice when I came back I noticed that I had the transmission in gear, very scary, and I am sure that one of the dogs had stepped on the shift selector. I do not have video proof but you should believe me. :rolleyes: Luckily the parking brakes are still very good.
Can you imagine what would happen if the dog would push the parking brake knob? :eek: I have attached an example. ?
I now have a small disk (3D print) that will fit behind the parking brake knob and I always will put it in place when I pull the parking brakes.
What are you doing to prevent this when you are traveling with dogs.

Yep, my parking brake is on the right side lower steering column so it has a brass parking brake lock that goes over. My new 4-legged copilot already educated me about light switches I wasn't aware of.

@MichaelMdG , looks great...hadn't thought about it. Did you design and print?

I can send you the print file.

We use the same kind of thing, 3D printed by a friend. He even made it bright yellow so I can't easily misplace it. :ROFLMAO:

@Chuggs designed one too:

That is a great idea. I am also going to that with @Chuggs design.

@MichaelMdG that would be great...thanks! Can you send the STL file?

Also, welcome to the forum!
Thank you. This is a great forum. It has been a very expensive week and I only joined last Sunday. I hate all these great ideas. :p
This week I ordered an UV Ionic Air purifier and EasyStarts from Micro-Air.

You can and should blame @Neal...he derives great pleasure in seeing the rest of us spend our hard earned money trying to keep up with him and his gadgets.
