Problem Tapatalk oddities

I am using an android device with tapatalk VIP paid mode.

I use tapatalk for several forums, and do understand it is quirky.

One thing I have noticed on this forum is that when I open the forum and go to either timeline or unread, I will get the spinning circle of death.

To solve, I choose the logout option, then login again. This will refresh instantly.

I am on a galaxy note 10, with android 9.0

I have tried on android 8, 10 and other devices with the same result. I have not tried any iOS device.

Are others seeing similar issues?

I have not seen this on iOS. I suggest reporting to Tapatalk who is also on this forum quite a bit. This forum'ware while not super new is newer than most of the other forum products in use and they may have some tweaking to do. You may want to start a conversation with @tapasupport who lurks here.

True, with profile defaults but I'll reach out to them and point them to this thread to be sure.

@redbaron what version of the Tapatalk App are you using? Find it on the bottom of the Me tab.
You mentioned when you open the forum and go to either timeline or unread, you will get the endless spinning circle.
May I ask how you opened the forum. Did you enter the forum from "My groups" tab or any other point of entry?
We'll run some tests to confirm the issue.

I am using v8.6.2(1583)

I start from the "my groups" tab, and then choose the timeline or unread.

After it spins, I then choose the logout option, exit and reenter via my groups, and login.
