Wife and I and our two minnie weenie just spent the better part of the week along the mighty Columbia River.
Such an important river that opened up the Pacific Northwest to settlers coming west across America.
This river to day is important, as it supports so much commerce along its banks and its water still.
She never sleeps.
Weather blew in one night, the winds sweep up her canyon walls, some rain along with some amazing colors, as our trailer was right on her bank.

Just a few pictures of many.

Gorgeous! Love that part of the country!

If you make it there a MUST is the FREE programs at the Goldendale Observatory.
You can star gaze until after midnight or look at the SUN, and see its solar flares LIVE on a special telescope....so very cool.

Lots of Bureau of Reclamation dams and hydro plants along the river. Well worth seeing and checking out the visitor centers. (From a retired dam guy.)
