Made it to Little Bear near HWH, and this place is dryer than a popcorn fart. I had just cleaned the coach and jeep, and now they're both a cement gray color.

Mission Bay RV Resort San Diego, California

I left Gila Bend, Arizona yesterday and drove over to Mission Bay San Diego. I had a nice drive on I-8 which is not a heavily travelled Interstate... Leaving Arizona crossing into California the posted speed limit is 70 mph unless you are truck or towing then it's posted for 55 mph. My Garmin also indicated the speed limit for 55 mph. I topped off my fuel in Yuma, Arizona as the price of diesel is $1.00-$1.50 more a gallon in California. From sea level I had to traverse 4 passes of 4,000 feet. That is quite a climb coming from sea level and the temperature was in the upper 80s but my temperature gauge for the engine stayed well within appropriate limits. I don't know if I would want to do those pulls in the heat of the Summer... Along the drive in California there is a Border Patrol inspection facility. I encounter these frequently in my travels in New Mexico and Arizona. As you roll up in your coach they always ask how many are traveling with me despite their knowing as your vehicle is scanned driving up to the Border Patrol agent. They also ask if you are a US citizen. I thanked the agent for his service, which he appreciated, and he said he was thankful they can now do their job...

I will be here for 2 weeks hanging out with friends, but my stay here is really intended to go up to West Hollywood a few times and spend time with my oldest daughter and meet my newest Granddaughter...

HWH at 8 am this morning for active air issues. I pray they will be able to finish today so we can stay on schedule. Camping at our site in a two door jeep with a German Shepherd is a bit cramped. Sitting in the shade while it's still cool.

Thank God they finished the coach. I've been waiting almost a year to get up here and seek repairs. Onward to Bauer tomorrow for the seats, then a very slow coast home. Should be back late November or so.

Maybe in another thread you can enlighten us on what your problem was. I know @J&JD had his issue, I had a solenoid issue and think I still have something going on as it's correcting level every few hours, although I can't feel it, but again, for another thread if you wanted.

Day 3 of my trip second day at Daisy Barn CG in Wilson NY. Took the bike to Wilson Point on Lake Ontario then to the downtown harbor for some apps. Back to the camp to chill.

Glades Pike Winery in Somerset, PA. Very quiet, very accommodating and nice hosts. Will be passing back through here next week on a day they are closed, but they said to stay anyway.

My trip out to San Diego was to catch up with some friends but my primary and most important reason was to meet my newest Granddaughter and spend time with my daughter and her family. I went up to West Hollywood on Tuesday and came back to San Diego yesterday. I had a wonderful 2 days...

As posted before, Bauer upholstery for only one night to get the front seats done. The wife wandered in to the office and talked to Lisa. They "just happened" to have two recliners in the same material. Out voted by my wife and the dog, we dumped the couch and now have some comfortable seating. Honestly, a great experience at Bauer!

Luray, VA, what was a KOA, now Spacious Skies ownership. My little area of peace and quiet in the Shenandoah valley. Nice CG, decent Wi-Fi, Verizon strong, AT&T is good too, didn't try SL due to trees and cost, not needed. Big dog park so Elli gives a dew claw up.

At the NKK Kountry Frolic Oregon State Rally being put on by State Directors DJ and Linda Thommen at Seven Rivers RV Resort. Love the RV sites are larger than postage stamps and we even have room for a table. Great to see fellow NKK members!
