Main ride since 1988 or so. Took years of building and rebuilding to get it how I liked it. Mostly.
A friend needed money and I bought this pile from him. Bad engine and transmission, now rebuilt. Needs brake work, tires, and for me to figure out the final paint scheme. One to many stripes so far.
This was mechanically decent but had a very ugly dull red paint job. Fixed that.
Fella owed me money and gave me this pile instead. I was agreeable. Had vlave/cam problems and is 90% back together now. Probably ride it a little and sell it. Too big for me.
Rebuilt all three of these so we could come home Sunday evening like this.
Later got tired (too old) of kicking that one bike and bought one with electric start.
Refurbished this for (mostly) campground use. Doesn't look 20 years old, does it?
Been working on this a couple of decades now. I can't paint it though.
Got a BUNCH of parts for this, I've snuck in a little work on it.
The reason I can't paint anything. Promised the wife I'd paint her "powderpuff" first. It's about 50% stripped/bodyworked.
Bought this as a rolling body basically. Put a non-stock turbo diesel, five speed, and various other upgrades in it and drive the pee out of it.
Decided I had too much stuff in my 2 bay garage last year and build a thord bay onto it. Wife fussed at me for not asking for help so I got my mason grandson to at least lay the block footer. Which I could have done too, but anyway. Build a back porch/patio. Wife made me let other grandson pour the concrete slab.
I run out of full sized vehicles to mess with I've collected every 1/24 scale 1964.5-1973 Mustang model kit I can find. Plus a few others. Takes me about 3-4 years to build just one.
I used to draw, paint, and airbrush but now most of that is funneled into PC graphics work and making stuff with a vinyl cutter.
Pretty full up on books but I still collect DVD's, BluRays, etc of favorite movies.
Nothing like relaxing after work blowing the head soff a few Zombies on an Xbox or Playstation.
Just smoked a brisket fro the family Christmas get together. For Thanksgiving I do a turkey and 100% scratch made apple pies. Christmas day my grown kids have decided I WILL be cooking my chili for them.
So I stay busy. Probably stuff I forgot to mention, like bicycling and flat water kayaking.
