Happy New Year to you all. I treated us to a new Camplux Oven a few weeks ago looks posh and up to date, and now we are disappointed with the buy. Over the holidays using the oven found that it is no difference with temperatures control this one is still 50 degrees out like the Atwood we took out and for baking Yorkshire Puddings we could not maintain 400/425* I have contacted Camplux and they said all RV ovens are the same. And no adjustments behind the oven knob for the temps also we have pizza tiles in the as before. I take it they must use the same parts in all the ovens, yes?

I wonder what the difference is in a natural gas oven in a house and a propane gas oven in an RV, other than the type of fuel?

Hi Guys. Long time. well we thought for Easter we would do a full on Turkey, Brit dinner as may see this posh oven would not reach the 400/425* brand spanking new gauge by the way, took longer than should there OK, base came a little burnt cause I believe the uncontrollable temps. Very disappointed with oven should kept the one installed in this rig. Thoughts.
Den. in NM.

I have never had an RV oven that had even heat.

I have never seen two of them that had accurate temperature regulation.

These are My observations and opinions.

Supply pressure is not consistent! This could be the adjustment you could use to adjust temperature.

Lack of a proper broiler creates hotter temperatures lower in the oven. Sometimes you can suspend a steel or aluminum plate above the floor of the oven to get more even heat. A solid plate without holes will not help.

Size matters! Cooking something without enough space from the walls is just as bad as not enough mass in the bottom of the oven between the cavity and the burner.

You will not get a professional oven when weight is metered.
