Thank you. The stainless steel bar is my directional tv antenna mast that can be raise and lowered for the road. I have the necessities for the RV in the boxes to keep the excess weight off the tow vehicle. Like tools, air pump, extra 30 amp cord, water hoses and stuff.Nice looking setup, whets the silver bar with the cable on it for? Also what are you storing in the boxes on the roof?
Thank you. Yeah I use the 2" wide velcro straps from Amazon around the bottom most of each wheel and underneath the track of the bike rack to keep it from jumping. Also had a center reinforcement post welded onto the tongue of the bike rack as well to velcro the mid bike back to to keep it from rocking to and fro. The extra stabilizers underneath each end of the bike rack to keep it from rocking side to side for peace of mind.I like that style of carier,on our fat tire bikes I bungee tie the front tire brakes while transporting, I have seen them moving on turns, I carry ours on the front of truck.BTW,I found out the hard way those velcro straps , work,I was lazy one time and didn't think it mattered I about lost a bicycle when I hit a dip in the road.
