I have a 2000 HR Ambassador. I have an ABS light on. I am looking for the "check codes" button to check the codes on this coach. I did find the control unit but it has no check button. I have looked everywhere and cannot find the place where the code button is located. Since the light is on I also lodtmy cruise control and the engine brake (I think they are all associated). I am also looking for a wiring diagram if any one has access to one.

Are the brake lights on while the engine is running and the brake pedal is up?

Here's where a young buck is handy 😉 Someone needs to pull all ABS Sensor units off the inside of the HUB and clean (I use brake cleaner), dry and replace. Now's the time to inspect for any cracks in the wiring. Put them all on back on all the way (they'll seat themselves when driving) With good fortune, after driving around the block the ABS light will go off. If not it's now a matter of finding out which wheel needs a sensor replacement. (My sensor units are $160 each so maybe just replace all four). It's an easy job except the getting down on the ground part. I used to do that just fine, now-a-days, not so much. OR...find someone with a fancy (and expensive) code reader and they can tell you what wheel is bad. Blessings

Try downloading Google's basic free Gemini app. It's not perfect, but it's good and better than nothing. The LLM on which it's trained has access to most everything ever written which is internet accessible. Including manuals and text on forums. Type in your vehicle specifics and the problem and what you may or may not understand about the response(s). It's perfectly free with no ads.
It's telling me your coach has an electrical bay below the driver's window where an ABS diagnostic button may be located next to the ABS fuse. Or under the dash near the steering column or above the throttle peddle.
