ABS code button

I have a 2000 HR Ambassador. I have an ABS light on. I am looking for the "check codes" button to check the codes on this coach. I did find the control unit but it has no check button. I have looked everywhere and cannot find the place where the code button is located. Since the light is on I also lodtmy cruise control and the engine brake (I think they are all associated). I am also looking for a wiring diagram if any one has access to one.

Are the brake lights on while the engine is running and the brake pedal is up?
