I am looking to purchase a RV for crosscountry travel. 2 people max, ease of use and comfort a priority.
That opens the door to a wide verity of units. Do you want to tow a trailer or would you rather have a motorhome? Do you have a size preference? How much do you want to spend? Is this a unit that you plan to keep for a while or just one time trip? If you could narrow your wants an needs a little, I think you will get some good recommendations.

A motorhome, I will be living in it for an extended period of time. It will be my primary residence as I am on the run persea from an abusive partner. I need to be mobile.

That is irrelevant to the question asked. Budget and ability to drive and maintain, and so much more. I work for people living in tiny class C's with 2 large dogs and a cat and single people in a 45 ft Class A. .....and everything in between. Class B is compact and easily driven, Class C's offer more room and comfort, and of course Class A's are everything C's are and more. And there are some in between. Diesel? Gas?
