Question aluminum RVs body interfere with cell service?

Some of the TTs and motor homes have what looks like aluminum siding on them. Does this make for poor cellphone reception within the RV?
If so, to what extent?

Depends on the window placement. I basically live in a faraday cage because I don't have windows in my cargo trailer.

Faraday cage..... Sounds like you are a radio ham 9as I am) or a retired engineer/technician (again as I am).
Basically put, park teh cellphone near the biggest window?

Find the tower location and use that window.

I was a novice years ago, decided the expensive equipment wasn't Worth the investment. Picked up the phone instead.

Home learned electronics (board level) as a hobby instead. Built controllers, and repaired CNC machines as a hobby.

But yes My blue collar existence, is deceptive. An employee for contractors with Sandia labs put me in contact with engineers that were on the for front of technology.
