Hello. We own a 2021 Roadtrek that we just love but it has one problem we can’t figure out - The battery level can be at 100% and you run the A/C and microwave or the coffee maker and microwave or any two things at once and it blips to 0% and you have to listen to constant beeping for a couple of hours IF you are in a sunny spot.
Just completed a pricey conversion to BUSS bar system and added another battery for a total of 6 and same thing happens.
Any ideas?
Thank you.

You are expecting to much out of the system .

What size and type are the 6 batteries?

None of the systems you mentioned are powered off my battery bank. Only when on genny or shore power.

Sounds like something between the batteries and the inverter is shutting down due to the large draw or rush of current. What kind of batteries and what is the system installed? And it would have to be a huge inverter regardless of battery power to run the microwave and AC. I agree that you are expecting to much and we will see when you tell us the inverter make and power.

What is your total battery capacity, amp hors and also BMS capacity? You should have at least 200 A/H Lithium for each 1,000 watts inverter demand. For extended draw 300 to 400 A/H is better. If still lead acid or AGM add 50% minimum. Cable size also becomes more critical. You should have metering to monitor power, current in and out and that will help you manage the consumption and charging. Being in a small vehicle it is unlikely that it is designed to work all of that equipment at once from battery. Especially the AC. Generator usually needed for that. For Microwave and coffee maker, pick one at a time.
