Gas pump campers get me as well. It happens a lot.
There is no question that this topic is a disliked action, and effects RVers. But to consider these people as campers is totally wrong! They are not campers in any sense of the word.

They are beggers! They beg to be seen. They know what they are doing, they always have. A group of them laughed at me when they came out of the Loves store when I was traveling through lordsburg NM one day. The leader gave me the look, you know the one! " Cross me" yup that one!

They are not inconsiderate, they are protesters plain and simple.

Well, I've read the entire thread, so here goes.
You pull into a campground, it is 90 degrees and next to you has to start a CAMPFIRE! Well, that's fine but then they leave it smoldering all day long and of course the wind is blowing your direction

And they toss plastic plates and silverware in a smoldering fire....

We have friends we use to camp with but don't anymore. When they asked why we never join them I was honest and told them I did not enjoy smelling there garbage in a smoldering fire pit all day. They still did not get it.
