Hello Intech owners, I’m looking at this inTech Aucta Travel Trailer and would like your thoughts on construction quality, issues, warranty work you’ve encountered, interior likes and dislikes, would you buy one again, that sort of thing. Thanks!

I have a 2023 Intech Sol Horizon and am very happy. Used it lots, and traveled back and forth from east to west coast a couple of times. The construction is quite solid, amenities are comfortable. Here's an "issues" list, but nothing I would get upset over:
I go backcountry camping and the Rover offroad upgrade is very much a must in my opinion.
The solar package is great, but I need a generator (WEN 4500 dual fuel) to keep up with things. AC requires shore power or a generator.
Tanks are good for one person for about 3-4 days max. If you take navy showers you might stretch that to 5-7 days.
The trailer hitch at the back is severely limited.
Splurge and replace the mattress with a proper one. The thin one supplied by factory is meh.

I've only taken my Sol Horizon out twice but my friends with significant camper experience have only praise for what they've seen when I've shown them the camper.

I've owned my 2021 Sol Horizon Rover since 2021. The only issues I've had are a couple of window shades that strings broke, a galley window slide that wouldn't stay closed, and once there was a known water leak coming from the fresh water holding tank. It was also among the versions that year that got an axle replacement. The dealer fixed all the issues no questions asked. Also, the A/C cover on top of the coach blew off somewhere in New Mexico. A Dometic product. Overall, of the three RVs I've owned, this one is by far, the best built and the dealer network is acceptable.

I love our Dusk. Went to the factory twice and was impressed with the quality of work and materials used. One thing you should know, is the trailers have close to zero insulation. Do not expect to use it in extreme weather.

We have had a very good ownership experience with our 2022 Sol Horizon. We've put over 10K miles on it and have slept in it over 100 nights. It has not been perfect. We had to have the Dexter axle replaced under warranty which cost us nothing. Additionally there are a couple of small cracks in the welds near the tongue. Intech paid to have them repaired, but they came back. Since they are small and have not grown our certified welder believe they are not a structural problem so at this point in time I just check them when I get home to make sure nothing has changed. Customer service has been excellent.

Have you actually seen one in person yet? I'd look at the walls and seams pretty closely before committing — that's where quality differences really show.

So they swallowed the bubble wrap insulation is great fad huh? That came thru where I was building houses many years ago and we just laughed. Guys were using it under slabs of heated concrete and basically trying to heat the planet......

My adventure style is heavy travels in the Spring and Fall seasons, generally a 4-7 week snowbird trip that includes 4'ish nights each way in snow zone conditions, and limited summer month camping (boating instead). So cooler weather comfort is a concern.

Back in 2025 my analysis suggested the SOL trailers have a comfortable usage range of 35F to 90F due the the lack of real insulation and the BTU ratings of the heater & air conditioner.

Hearing @Buly and other multi-season-use owners real world experience would be very helpful.

In 2025 I asked inTech Sales for a technical report or analysis on the SOL R-Value.
They thanked me for my interest and never provided any information.

You have not included the air film resistance on the exterior surfaces of the wall and the winter air gap resistance is not zero. You don't say what the air gap thickness is so I cannot comment on the correct value.

We've spent several nights in the 10-20F range with our Sol Horizon. The furnace intech provides is more than adequate for keeping the interior comfortable with the ceiling vent slightly open to control humidity. However, on our 2022 model the lack of heated holding tanks do present an issue for true four season camping. If you plan to dry camp in the winter I feel it is adequate for any local in the lower 48. We are located in Montana so we see plenty of cold.

Air Film Resistance; an over site in 2025 as focus was on materials.
Literature suggests R=0.17 for exterior surface and R=0.68 for interior (building not RV construction)
Adding that 0.85 to the 2025 estimate ups the R-Value to the 2.07 to 3.07 range, still well below inTech sales R-Valve of around 7

I set the winter Air Gap at zero as the Reflective / Bubble Wrap barrier is on the interior wall.
Even adding an air gap of " 1 " for winter only equals an R-Value of 3.07.

Air Gap is 1-inch. Based on inTech tours stating 1x1 tubing is used in the 'cage framing'.
