Two-part question regarding hot water heater.

1. Turned hot water heater switch on and not getting hot water (electric mode). Any trouble shooting tips appreciated. I did check the breaker and also, it's not in "bypass" from winterization. There is no hot water at the pressure relief valve.

2. It appears that the water heater is setup to run off of propane also. I have never fired it up that way. How is propane ignition accomplished?

Attached is photo of unit in 2019 Newmar Ventana 4037.

Thanks!!

Do you have a switch to turn on the gas portion of the heater and is it on? What have you tried?

I have never run the hot water heater with gas. I did figure out it is a Suburban SW10DE and order a new heating element. I was hoping I could find out how to fire it up using gas.

There should be a switch to turn on the gas portion of the unit...
