I've continued my Air Force routine which is annual physicals and other routine "service" visits. My fear is if I go fulltime which will be my escape, running away from everything enjoying the open roads, I'll let my routine go and live freely. How many fulltimers stay disciplined to your health and physicals, labs, doctor visits, etc.?

Getting older obviously means out of warranty and things start to show up needing attention. Such is life. My fear is taking to the fulltimer lifestyle is going to put health on the backburner, which may not be a bad thing, doctors are business, and they seem to keep you coming in for more business as we get older.

For those that care to be fully transparent, how has RVing affected your medical care, visits, needs, etc.?

Didn’t impact us while we were full timing.

Found plans and doctors where we stayed for the winter so we could schedule everything during that time.

Also had plans that provided better coverage while traveling.

We are fortunate health wise with no big on going issues. We stop at our home base every year for a complete physical (which we need anyway for our out of country travel insurance). We renew driver's license, vehicle insurance etc plus visits with friends and family before we hit the road again. Other than my wife tripping and getting a huge gash in her knee while in Texas requiring a visit to an emergency clinic and then having to stop at another one for the removal of the staples, we have never had to worry about a doctor. We do visit a dentist for routine cleaning etc and often we are able to use Los Algodones for this type of service.
