I used them for a caravan in 2017 and was a great trip. Haven't done anything with them since, no fault of theirs.

They got a lifetime pass out of me so I was hoping to hear good things lol. I prefer the off grid camping more, but knew I would need to use campsites as well to refresh and stuff like that. Figured it would be nice to roll up to a campsite meet and greet, do laundry, swim, that kind of stuff between boondocking cause free is always a great price. I plan on full timing for the next couple years at the least so the investment was worth it to me.

Yep, me too (lifetime pass) and hopefully I'll do a caravan with them again. Caravans are gold. Just the other day I was doing a review of what my favorite destinations to date have been and many were on that caravan (Rockies Tour).

I would love to get out and meet and greet with others. Learn the RV Lifestyle from those who practice it. I've followed a couple youtubers for the last year or so researching and learning the ins and outs. I hope to meet some of them in real life one day to thank them for their videos and advise over a cold beer.

Right now I'm on the east coast, but hope to make it out west by the end of next year if not this year (depends on the lead times and when I get everything squared away for our departure.) Does the East Coast do events and meets as well? I didn't see a regional section for the forum but I haven't gotten through all of them different sections and threads yet.

Didn't know PA offered a lifetime membership. We purchase the annual membership. Not all campgrounds that participate will honor PA discounts on weekends or holidays. We have actually found that there are a lot more Good Sams and military discounts available than PA.

Good to know. I have the lifetime pass to the national parks too. Doesn't include camping fees and what not but gets me through the gates. It's suppose to offer discounted rates too but I haven't camped at any yet. I usually go camping locally and don't have national parks close by.

As others have mentioned there can be a variety of restrictions a campground may apply to the use of, or honoring PA discounted rates. Some I've encountered are, not allowed on weekends or holidays, not allowed in "high" season (Winter in Florida for example), restricted to use on only select (in my view less desirable) sites, restriction to the number of nights the PA discount will apply. With that said my use is typically just an overnight stay while in transit from one place to another. My schedule has been flexible enough that I have generally been able to get the PA discount when there was a PA campground in the area I was looking to stop. The PA discount is typically around 50% so break even & initiation of saving is fairly quick.
