I remember this from my boating days!
- people who pull in and back into a spot next to yours at 2am...while there is a fight going on between the driver and the person helping to guide them into the spot.
Confirmation emails are great. I should check them closer. So, really it is my fault, not the stoned staff at the CG that screws up the reservation in the first place. Maybe if they didn't Bogart that...When we make campground reservations over the phone, we use the terms "arriving on" and "departing on;" e.g. "arriving on February 7" and "departing on February 10." That should clearly delineate that we will be staying at the campground on the nights of 2/7, 2/8 and 2/9. We will be leaving the campground on 2/10 by the normal check-out time (usually around 11:00 am).
Whenever possible, we try to make reservations electronically (so that we have a record of what we asked for) and request an e-mail confirmation.

So how do you combat this? Does everyone wipe down the table top with disinfecting wipes before using it? I bought some form fitting naugyhyde covers that cover the top and the seat tops from a guy in Clermont FL. They are heavy enough not to blow off and clean up easily before storing them away for travel.
Not trying to assign fault; just relating what has worked for us. YMMVConfirmation emails are great. I should check them closer. So, really it is my fault, not the stoned staff at the CG that screws up the reservation in the first place. Maybe if they didn't Bogart that...
Several ways we combat this. First, we carry our own table and use it whenever we can. Than, we never use a campground table without (1) spraying it down with Lysol disinfectant and (2) using our own table covering. And, we never put dishes, eating utensils, food containers, etc. on any campground table. So how do you combat this? Does everyone wipe down the table top with disinfecting wipes before using it? You're right, TJ. I just need to pay more attention. Just gets tricky when I forget where I'm at (and when I need to leave!). Happy Trails! Not trying to assign fault; just relating what has worked for us. YMMV

Yes, I understand TJ. But given you travel with Mini Schnauzers, that doesn't surprise me...I guess we're strange, but trains have never seemed to bother us.
