Yes they have:
My predictions are:

# Baystar is now a Diesel. No more gasser
# Dutchstar gets lithium batteries and 500HP engine
# Essex replaces King Aire

#King Aire goes away for 1-2 years, and returns as a Prevost conversion.

Since you are predicting, how about predicting starting price points. Maybe we can have a contest to see who is closest without going over. 😁

Definitely a change in marketing style post WBGO take over

Oh--your too much fun.

OK -- I will bite:

Assuming the changes above:

Baystar will increase from $197 to $249k
Dutchstar will increase from $490 to $625
Essex will increase to $1,195,000

I sure hope they keep gassers. Why have six different diesels an no gasser - not logical to me. I will likely always buy a gas coach. Easier to buy and maintain.

The Baystar Sport would remain a gasser in my theory. I wasn't clear on that distinction.

They need more choice in gassers. I was disappointed to see the Canyon Star go diesel, with all of the diesels they already have.

Baystar - $257.5k

Essex - $1,098,000
Starbucks fresh brewed grande coffee - $4.85

I see you too watch the price is right!

I agree!

I felt that Canyon Star was without a doubt the top end of the "gas" Coach market. It was the "Luxury Coach" of the "gas" RV market!

And as a 2020 Canyon Star "Gas" Coach owner, I realize I'm biased, but all one needs to do, is compare it to any other "gas" Coach manufacturer! I've looked at all of them.
By having added Liquid Spring suspension to my coach, I have, without a doubt, the finest riding "gas" coach in the entire RV Industry. A bold statement, but just drive one!

As to the price "guess estimate"
Bay Star $235-$270K
Dutch Star $510-$640K
Essex $1,150,000+

Will be interesting to see the "Sneak Preview"

must be something in the water in Nappannee

I think we need to look at what Winne is doing to their line up, may give insight into how they want to position Newmar.

New ads to sell new coaches that they can't build because of "supply chain" shortages and labor shortages. Sounds like a plan to me.

Like the new XCM chassis Journey....?

I always wondered if the shift to FRED was good for Canyon Star or not?
I'm not sure how many King Aire's a year they produce, in that rarified air what is another $500k to move it closer to a Newell and separate from Foretravel a bit more.

@Old Bubblehead

I would bet that overall Canyon Star production is down, but the "3927" Toy Hauler is up! I think Newmar just "gave up" a big portion of the "gas" coach market! But, they have the market data, and have to trust they know what they're doing!

I'm just glad I bought mine when I did!

Are those hydraulic steps? If so, how long do you think those exposed hoses will last?
