Where would you want to go and what would you want to see and experience AGAIN or for the FIRST time? Share your TOP 10.

So I totally stole this idea from someone else (Thanks Busskipper). As I sit at my little dinnette table, sipping my hot green tea, I'm trying to figure out WHAT I am doing and WHERE am I going to do it. My Maritime Tour, as many of you know was cancelled and here I am with no reservations anywhere, like so many others who are replanning their summer and lives. And TODAY is the day I'm making a plan. I've been RVing now for 2 ½ years and have been having the time of my life. There are so many places to go and experience. I would love to hear your stories and favorite places and/or dream trips.

To get this started, I will share mine which may very well change tomorrow. ?

1. Glacier National Park - I've only been there once and once is not enough. There are soooo many hikes I want to do there which leads me to #2

2. Waterton -Glacier International Peace Park: I want to do the International Peace Park Hike. It begins at Waterton, Canada and from there you hike across the US-Canada border to Goat Haunt and then take a boat trip back to Waterton. AND I want to have Afternoon Tea at the Prince of Wales Hotel. The hike from Waterton to Crypt Lake would just be BONUS.

3. Jasper, Banff, Calgary - need to work on my list of "not to be missed" experiences in this region

4. Utah - I want to see everything: Arches, Canyonlands, Capital Reef, Bryce Canyon, Zion, Moab, Escalante . IF I left anything out, I invite you to share. I haven't spent anytime there yet. Maybe this September could be the time?!

5. I would do the PryorWild Mustang Tour AGAIN. It leaves from the Pryor Mountain Wild Mustang Center in Lovell, WY. It is a small tour. There were 3 of us in Steve's (owner/guide) jeep and it was a long, rocky climb to get to the horses and worth every minute. Steve's wife, Nancy packed the group a Yeti cooler with a wonderful lunch spread and we sat on rocks overlooking the lake where the horses were rolling in and drinking from. Magic! Also, a very long day!

6. Grand Canyon, AZ

7. Canyon de Chelly, NM

8. The Wave, Arizona

9. Black Canyon of the Gunnison

10. Maritime Tour - including Quebec, Nova Scotia, PEI and Newfoundland

OMGosh, this is just the tip of the iceberg of my list....just SOME of the biggies - there are sooo many other towns and places to go and see. Maybe we need 2 lists - our BIG wishes and then the list that we may more readily be able to accomplish list. (yup, I think I'll work on that one next, as that may be the one I need to utilize for this summer) Looking forward to seeing ya'll's bucket list! ?

Not sure I have 10 yet which leads to the problem below. Currently it's Glacier, Jasper/Banff, Alaska

Problem: Ignorance. Not knowing what there is to see! I'm the one that finds out about a great concert in town after it's gone! I need to spend some time maybe with books like Lonely Planet or anything anyone recommends on what there is to see. I did buy this book about national parks but haven't opened it yet, had it since umm Nov 2018 according to Amazon :(

Looking forward to learning from the others and the great lists ahead.

following so I can dream a little...

At my age, I try not to focus on "bucket lists!" I'd just like to be "somewhere." :ROFLMAO:

Well, I for one, would love if you would share some of your favorite places of past travels. As a more experienced traveler, I would value your input! ?

Well, here are a few.

Vancouver Island, BC (very expensive ferry trip though)
Olympic National Park and Northwest Washington coast
Oregon Coast, especially the Newport area
Crater Lake National Park
Redwoods National & State Parks
Northern California Coast
Yosemite National Park
Lake Tahoe (California/Nevada)
San Antonio, TX and the Alamo
Santa Fe, NM
Zion National Park
Yellowstone National Park
Buffalo Bill Center of the West museums and Cody, WY
Glacier National Park
National Bison Range (Montana)

And, I would be remiss if I didn't mention Polson Motorcoach Resort, Polson, MT. ;)

We go to Pryor mountain every year. We have adopted several wild mustangs as a result of these summer trips.

Looking forward to driving my jeep out there as opposed to my pickup truck we have driven the past 8 years.

As for lists, that’s too much like work ?. But I’ll throw out a few places we been or want to see.

1. Alaska was #1 on our list for along time and went last summer. We will do again, God willing.
2. Calgary Stampede, Banff and Jasper- we were scheduled this summer with NKK
3. Glacier NP, always seem to be in MT too early
4. Yellowstone NP-Planned for early June this year but COVID-19?
5. Vancouver Island, Campbell River for some fishing
6. Utah-All the places @ARD mentioned. Just did Zion NP but Utah will take over a month to do.
7. Antelope Canyon, AZ was planned for this year.
8. Mt. Rushmore, planned for late this summer
9. Maine and rest of Northeast
10. Alexandria Bay-Thousand Islands, NY. Went before but worth a return.

Want to hit all 49 States in Motorhome, we have a few to go mostly northeast.

With the exception of an upcoming trip to the OBX, I have nothing on my agenda. I need to fix that, but to be honest, Im in a bit of a funk from being locked down and having crap weather to top it off.

With that off my chest, I’d like to go to South Dakota, Wyoming, and Montana in the next year or so. I need to see Devils Tower because aliens.

I love heading west just to get away from the smothering traffic that is the east coast.

We love the vistas in Utah. Bryce Canyon is my favorite. Ruby’s campground right outside the entrance has put in large pull-throughs in the new back section. One area not to miss is Monument Valley. You can stay on the reservation at Gouldings. It is not fancy, but you are right in the red rocks. Take a late afternoon Navajo tour that includes the sacred area. As the sun starts to dip, the majestic scenery becomes majical. The Escalante area is not as traveled, but gorgeous. Take your toad on the Burr Trail out of Boulder, no motorhome. Beautiful! Read the guide on the area. There us an unmarked slot canyon worth exploring. In better times, I would recommend a wonderful meal at Hell‘s Backbone Grill in Boulder.
In all of our travels, the most beautiful scenery has been the Icefields Parkway between Banff and Jasper.
