    Rv overnights

Look interesting but I will stick with Harvest Host for now. While it does have some good features it also states must spend $30 per overnight at the facility. We do not mind spending money at our hosts and many times we will spend more than that at a Harvest Host. We love the serenity, quiet...

    Lavender Crest Winery, Colona IL

First time at this Harvest Host location. It’s a little bougie to this beer and bourbon boy (went back to change out of tshirt into something more in keeping), but nice is nice. Staff are friendly and the wine is okay if you’re into that sort of thing. 🍻 :p

I just got on to a new site for RVers?

As I mentioned earlier we have used Harvest Hosts almost 30 times in the past 5 years and have had two bad experiences. I would investigate a little further before completely ruling it out. I am seeing more locations that now allowing same day reservations and additional days ( for a price)...

Ryker Mom Walks-Through Harvest Host Member: Summer Crush Winery

I am a member of Harvest Host and decided to do a quick day trip to Ft Pierce Inlet State Park and overnight at Summer Crush Winery. I did a quick video walk-through for anyone thinking about staying there.

Question What RV memberships, clubs, etc are you a member of (2024 edition)

Still maintain GoodSam as the campground discounts pay for it every year. Planning to drop FMCA next go around. We just signed up for Harvest Hosts for this summers trip - jury is still out if we will keep it. We used HH for more than 10 nights this year. Not sure it saves anything but does...

Where were you with your NEWMAR today?

Overnight Harvest Host at Rocky Mount Mills on our way to Myrtle Beach. Nice quiet location close to I-95 with great pizza shop. Kids were happy because we were jumped onboard the Starlink train and they had solid internet access!

BLOG Harvest Hosts gets competition from new lower-cost alternative

It is fun in the forest, not as crowded normally either 😊 Knew how to play in the woods, when I played the game, and got confused when I was actually in a fairway 🤣

Are you a Harvest Hosts member? Good program to join for trips like this.

Where were you with your NEWMAR today?

Iron Saddle Ranch. Harvest host location. They are a ranch supply store and restaurant with a rodeo venue. Unfortunately for us, all services are closed on Memorial Day, but open for Harvest Host. They allow 15 rigs per night. We are the only ones here so far. . The restaurant gets great...

    Old but new RV GPS

I've had good look with my older Garmin RV660 LTM. I upgrade it every January. My navigator, errr, My Dear Wife, will use Google when we deviate from our route when heading to a campground, Harvest Host, or Walmart. At times when the directions Garmin gives don't seem to make sense, looking...

    RV Overnight Membership

I've seen rvovernighst.com advertised in the last few days. It appears to be very similar to Harvest Host in hosting sites and its $29.95 guaranteed price for life is much less the HH. Has anyone had any experience with this company? https://www.rvovernights.com/

Best route around Atlanta on I75 pulling 35’ trailer

I would go through Atlanta on 75. 285 is more of a race track than it was 40 years ago. Winding Waters on the north side south of Cartersville High Falls State Park is a few mile south of ATL but a good stop. There are several stops on 75 south. Lane orchards is good if you have Harvest...

Harvest Host at Pine Drive Farm VA

Beyond Newmar, many other coaches cannot change the air from dometic. This includes tiffin, Entegra, realm, marathon, Newell, and American Coach. If the electronics and original design was for a ccc2 penguin 2, your stuck with that model and protocol for the thermostat and autogen . And to...

Question What RV memberships, clubs, etc are you a member of (2024 edition)

...that is affiliated with them NKK Good Sam only because we have one of their credit cards Had KOA - don’t stay at them normally so not worth it Had Harvest Hosts - now that we are full time may renew with all the less expensive “come back” offers flying around. Open Roads for the fuel discount

Any suggestions for a good trip planner??

I have had RV Life for three years, Roadtripper, Harvest Host, Wanderlog, and never really used them. I don't need an app to tell when I need fuel or find a station for me, plenty of signs when the next Love's, Pilot, Circle K etc, are coming up. You can still access RVParky, RV Life, and other...

    RV Overnight Membership

I joined and figured for $30 for a lifetime membership I really couldn’t go wrong. I’m also a member of harvest host so I will report back in a few weeks with comments about the new membership.
