Bike Rack Between MH and Toad

Ok, this may not be made any longer, but if anyone knows of a bike rack which can mount on the tow bar, or an extension of the tow bar which will allow bikes to be carried. Please send links in reply. Found some years ago, think swagman is the only one, and theirs dont look heavy enough...

Swinging trailer hitch-based bike rack that also has a platform? (for a camper van)

I am looking for a combination bike rack/ platform that would mount in the trailer hitch, but also one that swings out. I saw a bike rack this weekend that did that. (Should have taken a picture). Coming out of the trailer hitch, the arm turns 90 degrees to one side and that is where there is...

Alert WARNING: Using a bike cover while on a bike rack while driving can KILL someone

Hello, my name is Darwin Neal. Today I asked myself a question I often wondered if I'd ever ask myself: "Where did my bike go?" Today I left Vegas northbound for an absolutely spectacular drive. On I-15N taking in the amazing views of snowcovered mountains and driving through old stomping...

Thank you. The stainless steel bar is my directional tv antenna mast that can be raise and lowered for the road. I have the necessities for the RV in the boxes to keep the excess weight off the tow vehicle. Like tools, air pump, extra 30 amp cord, water hoses and stuff. Have added more...

    E-Bike carrier for Flagstaff TT

I bought the Cravot E2 and have it assembled. It’s a really study e-bike rack built to hold 200 pounds and confirmed by Cravot for TT use. Forest River confirmed that the hitch receiver on the 26SFK is rated for 300 pounds so the weights are in line. I haven’t had a chance to put it on the...

Spare Tire Assist for older Roadtreks

This past spring, I purchased a 2007 Roadtrek. It has a spare tire carrier in the rear, but it did not have a tire assist lift to help with lifting the 70lbs tire back into place. I was fortunate enough to find Josh, who is a fabricator and welder local to me, to create one for me. He told me...

    Question Bike Rack Recommendation

Due to the wide variety of bike racks and the unique shape of RVs it’s not a simple task to select a camper bike rack. Bike racks can vary in the number bikes and types of bikes they can accommodate. Also they are not compatible with all types of vehicles. So in order to search for the best RV...

Strengthen and replace hitch receiver on rear of trailer

The 300 lb capacity is not for the bouncing torsion that will be caused by a bike rack. It will experience loads much greater than 300 lbs.

Bike rack recommendation for long-hauling four bikes

I’ve found that etrailer.com has good reviews and recommendations on bike racks for RV vehicles. We purchased a bike rack for 2 bikes from them. Finding a bike rack for 4 bikes would be more difficult.

    Bike rack options?

...axle to the bike rack creates more violent movements which will create more stress that a typical passenger vehicle. Watching how much the rear bike racks jump around on bumps (on the back of travel trailers) makes me not want to use a bike rack on the RV, unless it was significantly...

I have two full size ebikes that do not fold. 55 lbs each w/o batteries. We carry them with a Hollywood Bike rack. The rack has been great. ETrailer.com can help to. We have a Roadmaster Dual Hitch Receiver Adapter with 2" or 4" Drop/Rise. Get the size needed for your toad if you are...

    EBikes

For anyone shopping for an e-bike be sure to understand the weight of the bike and that you'll need to be able to load/unload it. Some bike racks offer ramps. These bikes are significantly heavier than traditional non e-bikes.

    Bicycle Rack

Hyper Tough Bicycle Rack for 1.25" or 2" Receiver Retails for $140 at Walmart Yours for $75 Weight Limit of 120 lbs. This bike rack is about 3-4 years old, has a few rust spots, and has one broken buckle that can easily be replaced. So, in reality, this is currently a 3 bike rack. It works great...

    RVing with E-Bikes

The e-bikes are compelling for sure. They look like a ton of fun! One question I have is what is the best way to carry them? Do you use a bike rack on the back of your toad? Are there special bike racks for e-bikes?
