Typically, hydraulic leveling cylinders have an array of mounting holes. Is it possible that they could be moved up? Is there room for them to be raised at the frame mounting bolts?
If you have an outside faucet, be sure that the faucet valve(s) itself is closed and not just the wand valve is closed. Same for the shower, make sure the mixing valve is in the shut-off position.
The best way would be to measure the battery voltage on the towed vehicle.
1. With the towed connected to the tow and both engine not running, measure and note the battery voltage with a voltmeter. It should be around 12 volts.
2. Start just the tow vehicle and again, measure the voltage at the...
Here is the response I received from Newmar:
If at all possible, I would recommend taking the coach to the body shop as it's not easy to remove/replace that fender. I'll do my best to explain since we don't have written instructions with pictures that I could send. There is usually one screw...
I’ve had a little damage to the fiberglass rear wheel opening. I would like to remove the entire fender wheel opening. Is there a series of bolts up, under the wheel opening? Any advice/experiences? Can it be done?
2017 Ventana LE 4037
On my '17 I found that there was only a battery switch for the chassis battery and the "salesman switch". The salesman switch only disables parts of the circuitry, causing a house battery drain. I installed a dual circuit battery switch to completely disconnect ALL power from the house...
...My ole brain got to working and I remembered that my district library has a 3D printer! All I need to do is design it and translate it to a *.stl file and have it printed over there. I've wanted a 3D printer for a long time, but just can't seem to justify it, so the library has been a handy...
My 2017 LE 4037 has the vent you are asking about. When zone 1 is operating, I indeed get air from the vent. I have read a few posts about improperly installed ducting. I would be using a mirror, a GoPro camera or a fiberoptic viewer to look into the vent to see if there is a blockage...
This is intended for connecting to the park's pipe, but it could be used for your application. Some PVC fittings to adapt to the end and you'd be done. You asked for a short sewer pipe.

1. Politely inform him that this is the last piece of advice you're offering. Further tell him about steps #2 and 3 you'll be taking (below)
2. If he calls again, ignore and do not answer.
3. If he calls again, block the number.
Factor in your transportation modes once at a destination. Sometimes a truck large enough for towing is overlarge when going for groceries or errands. I see it over and over again with people that cannot handle a huge truck in the parking lots. With a motorhome towing, the towed vehicle is what...
Our 2017 was stricken by the crumbling upholstery syndrome, like so many others of that era. Although up front, the cost to recover the 2 captain's chairs seemed a little steep, upon receiving the kits, it is obvious how much work is involved in making one of these covers. I had never done any...
The "salesman switch" does not completely isolate the batteries from the devices. I can't tell you exactly what is or is not disconnected using that switch. Every coach model is different. I can say that after I installed a manual double post battery disconnect in the battery bay, along with the...
I use two hitch stabilizers, but made my own. Since I am trying to minimize lateral slop, I put mine on 90 degrees to what is "normally" done. Essentially they clamp and tighten sideways. I use 2 stabilizers: one on the drop hitch to coach and the other at the drop hitch to tow bar. The result...
I start by removing the water heater drain plug (be sure to have opened a faucet to reduce the line pressure). I then place the hot water supply lines into the bypass mode. This is to prevent the final step from filling the heater with anti-freeze. I leave out the drain plug until it's time to...
