Chateau de Pique winery , Harvest Host. Seymour Indiana.
On our way to Nashville from Nappanee. Great half way stop location to overnight. Had Charcuterie boards and glass of wine. Delicious.
Great quiet location in the country but only a few miles from hwy 65.

I'm at the nearest Harvest Host to the Air Force museum (Wright-Patterson AFB), about a 10 minute drive away. I realized the reason I didn't see a famcamp when route planning is maybe I didn't have a checkbox turned on but I wanted to use a Harvest Host anyways as I've been paying for it and not...
We Have been Harvest Host member for over 5 years and we absolutely love it. We travel in a 40" diesel pusher with a F150 SuperCrew in tow. We have never had to unhook our toad. We have used all aspects, Vineyards, breweries, museums, Living History developments, golf courses, bars and...
Well we put on about 375 miles today. Stopped at Harvest Host Pals Brewery.in North Platte Nebraska. Great craft beers, custom pizzas and nachos.
Parked in a huge field just for Harvest Host customers. Very friendly, very nice.

Hi Everyone,
We're new to the RV life. Excited to connect with folks here. We joined HarvestHosts as a host (we have an organic farm), and have truly enjoyed the people that we've met. Look forward to new connections here. Be well! Amy

HarvestHosts is a good choice for “free” overnights (although you can end up spending some $$ at these locations) and they have a good on-line route/stop...
I had a hard time getting into a campground enroute to a business stop in Ashburn, VA (my data center location) so I decided to use my HarvestHosts membership. I found a winery and booked it. HarvestHosts has really improved the system but they also have strict rules now to help retain hosts...

...this proved yet again as I was having a problem getting out of the Dallas area and heading east. I thought I was going to have to hop HarvestHosts until Sunday and then find a place to stay for a few days until the already reserved next spot. Today I searched yet again as I needed a plan and...
...and buying a bottle or two, plus dinner, was a lot more money that just paying for a site at an average campground - one that has full hookups versus boondocking.
So, I don't have a problem with HarvestHosts, generally I like them. But, they just don't work for us and the way we travel anymore.
...between google maps and my Garmin 890 I can always find a suitable park while traveling long distances with no reservations. I also use HarvestHosts while on the road, but these sites rarely have hook-ups. KOA has an app and I use them (although not their app) occasionally as they are...
We stay at a Harvest Host location several times a year. We stayed at the same vineyard near Fredericksburg, TX from the Friday after Thanksgiving until Monday morning. It is a considerable parking lot with a crushed granite surface. I've learned to ask if multiple nights are available and they...
...using this method and have discovered some really nice parks doing so.
I’ve downloaded half a dozen campground apps, but other than HarvestHosts and KOA, I never use them, and only go looking for a KOA when I need full hook-ups and can’t find anything else. KOA CGs are dependable, clean and...
