    ...even ask about it when I ordered it since they claimed up to 60' range, but the extender says it should be used when the distance from the unit to the rear most wheels is 25 feet or more. I did ask about the extended warranty in my email to them, so maybe I will get it offered? Time will tell.

    I had a warning light pop on back in Ohio. I stopped and bought one of those plug in diagnostic tools to see if I should worry and it went out. Warning lights are like those people who keep calling and offering an extended warranty. They just want you to spend money.

    I bought the extended warranty on how it works. You get the first 90 days then the warranty you purchase kicks in. I figure if I get a good one, I win. If not, most issues make themselves evident early on in most cases. I will keep this thread updated as time goes on.

    Quality Control

    This is why I never buy extended warranties for electronics. If it doesn't fail in the stores warranty period, it most likely wont fail at all.
