No way in this world I would buy the first production year of this thing. Give it about 3-5 years for them to work out the bugs in all this new technology. And BUY THE EXTENDEDWARRANTY!!! It'll probably cost $10k but it'll be worth it!
...said that, as a previous poster pointed out, every coach is going to have some kind of problem. I strongly advise you to get a good extendedwarranty repair policy to cover everything in the coach. I did on both coaches I have owned, and have used the extendedwarranty to get things...
I just found this damp spot underneath my FWS. It’s right above the rear tires and extends to the left of the photo about another 2-3 feet.
There is no plumbing in the FWS to serve as a source. The coach has sat out in the rain this week with the FWS extended. I can only assume the rainwater...
Are you asking what a PrimeCare subscription offers?
If so, it's more than an extendedwarranty. It allows you to access SpeedFusion Cloud and Remote Management services.
Hi Theresa,
I have a well maintained 2015 RoadTrek SS Agile for a very competitive price, the option for delivery is available. If interested, please provide your contact information.

So that is like, 39 hours of labor at 150 an hour. The rig is over a year old. Miles??? Drive train warranty, likely factory manufacturer warranty. CW reputation?
We bought an extendedwarranty for the 2014 Ventana LE because we were not the original owners (though the coach only had 3,500 miles on it when we bought it). Newmar does not transfer the one-year coach warranty to a subsequent owner, though both Cummins and Freightliner did. That was the...
First of all, IMHO that original purchaser didn't negotiate a very good deal on the extended service plan when he originally bought the RV. Secondly, a CW warranty is the last one you should purchase. Most of their stores are famous for doing shoddy work on rigs.
Might not be the case when it comes to an extendedwarranty. On our previous coach the radiator sprung a leak after the mfg warranty had expired. This was a known problem but the extendedwarranty company would not cover the repair unless I could prove that I had serviced the radiator according...
Idea of older coaches having bugs worked out, depreciated and things is got its points. Yes maybe out of warranty but you can get extendedwarranty. I think your research has provided what manufacturer have a good reputation and would stick with that. May end up being 5 years old instead of...
...you can, but not very often. Again, I am from the Automobile world, not RV's. I really am not sure that RV Manufactures offer a extendedwarranty. Just know that most "automobile" extended "Service Contracts" have specific items they cover, IF it is not listed, it is not covered, so read the...
...I decided against it. Mine was $7,500.
if you have that money set aside and growing in an investment, my thought is to forgo the extendedwarranty and pay for whatever breaks. If you are not good at saving or don‘t have the extra cash (just in case) then financing an extendedwarranty might...
When it comes to Vehicles I'm a Ford guy. When I buy I know how log I intend to keep the vehicle. If I'm going past the factory warranty I will get an extended service plan that Ford offers and no after market. I also took one out on our Travel Trailer we bought in May of 2020.
...being none the wiser. Even though I registered my CFX345 with Dometic, no recall letter. Lots of opportunities to pay for an extendedwarranty on a defective unit though!

The recall remedy...
We got the extended because in “writing” it covers everything for 5 years. That is four years beyond manufacturer warranty. I do plan on doing a lot of my own basic stuff. However, I don’t want to pay out of pocket for my AC unit and labor to install.
Our warranty covers more than a few...
...straight to the battery. Will need to remove and replace jack. Internal Electrical issue of some sort. Correction Remove old jack and install new jack.”
Have extendedwarranty that paid full. Truck running fine. Asked service writer he said they don’t know what caused issue. Maybe lightning.
Sure. Understood. I guess the question would be what actual item is. For example, you will see an oil change suggested for 6 months, yet not a single (honest) shop said that was necessary until a year at the soonest.
I realize it’s a big gamble if you don’t do the research first.
Well at least Mercedes extended their emissions warranty. I’ve talked to FL and Daimler about it and of course they aren’t too keen on the idea, but FL is a Daimler company just like Mercedes. I’m not done with this but I admit it’s wearing me down a bit.
...mean to be rude, purchased brand new rv from them and regretted every moment we spent in it!
Honestly if your interested in an extendedwarranty do some research there’s companies out there! I used Forever Warranty, yeah it costs me $199 a year for an inspection but I’ve used it four times...
