    Try comparing dip switches to see if they align? When I had someone install my first soft start he messed up the dip switches. Just compared the two.

    I can't make sense of it. I manage to run two A/C's off a single leg of 30A divided to both A/C's. I do have the MicroAir Soft start on both units. When running they pull less than 14A. So...if you are in a 50A shore power connection, and the panel is balanced...you should easily run four...

    That is not how a soft start works, that plug-in device would effect all the power in your RV. I have installed soft starts on 200 HP motors to small half HP motors. They HAVE to be connected to the specific device (motor) and controlled to operate during start up (and sometimes shutdown)...

    Very,vary sceptical!!! Why??? 15k unit runs, not starts on 1500 watts. Or roughly 100 watts for 1k BTU. So you can soft start one ac on 3000w generator, but the second will exceed the capacity of the generator. But there's more! The generator has a power dip before the engine catches up...

    You may need a full blown vehicle charger... sone "trickle chargers" wouldn't pump out much. I haven't tried this... butbif you can start your coach, or start your coach with a jump. Let it run...and check the voktage on the chassis on your digi-level display. When it gets up around 13+...

    I run my 15k unit on 20 Amp often, no soft start. Make sure no other loads on circuit.

    Running draw for a new 13.5 btu a/c is 12-13 amps in a ‘spec world’. However you will need a “soft start“ device as most motors pull significantly more at start up without some type of modification.

    FYI Have to be careful with electric loads

    ...an option for an overnight stay while on the road. As mentioned previously the start up of the AC is where you are probably getting overloaded. Last time I looked Soft start makes a dogbone version of their otherwise "installed at each AC" device, might be worth a look for use while traveling.
