    E450 valve stem extensions

Looks like this is the kit i would need https://yourtireshopsupply.com/product/7192/dl1ecfr-chrome-duallyvalve-with-front-stems-dl1ecfr Then it says it's hard to balance. Then it says it's impossible to run the better tpms with them. ugh.

    Wireless TPMS Good or Bad

I was recently told by the service department that is doing my warranty work on my new bay star that they stopped selling the TPMS (Wireless Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems) because it was causing the tire stems were to leak. I think I have rubber stems and was told to switch to mental. Anyone...

    TPMS Best Aftermarket brand?

We used an EEZ RV TPMS system, but other brands include TireMinder and 507 Series. I'd skip the flow through sensors. Just a problem waiting to happen. Also, if not already equipped you might consider metal tire valves.

FYI 2017 Chevy Colorado "Tire monitor system" message (TPMS sensor failure)

...found the answer yet but I did come across this interesting information. AAA conducted a series of tests on tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS) in various vehicles to assess their effectiveness in detecting underinflated tires. Here's a summary of the key findings and recommendations...

    TPMS

Never heard of a TPS until I started reviewing camping / RV forums. Recently purchased the TST 507. I have a 2022 FR Wildcat 5th wheel. 36.5 foot pulling with a Ford F-250. Rubber stems so using the sensor caps. Do you recommend I use the repeater and how should I install it if I do? I am...

    TPMS

I am looking at purchasing a monitoring system, but I want to know your thoughts. Do they really work? are they worth the expense? Do they really prevent damage to the rv, through the monitoring system? Thanks

    TPMS Recommendation

This may have been covered earlier but can you tie the tow sensors into a Spartan chassis TPMS? I'd like to maintain factory FORD sensors in the tow to allow the in car TPMS to work.

    Question TPMS repeater install

I have the new EEZRV TPMS and I need to install the repeater. I would like to install it in the 1/2 bath like this video suggests. Anyone know where I can get the on/off switch shown in the video?

Looking for a TPMS for Class A

Looking for help on finding a TPMS for my 2021 Class A. I have search high and low in the internet, but would love to hear from you guys on this subject. Thanks!!!

FYI 2017 Chevy Colorado "Tire monitor system" message (TPMS sensor failure)

...car that came with low profile tires. The tire was on about 60% air and discount refused to repair due to wall damage! Next car(truck) had tpms and I saw the benefits. 3 tires were saved by that tool, now I would have them replaced in a heart beat! At first sign of failure. Notice I...

Alert TPMS SENSORS ON RUBBER STEMS MAY CAUSE VALVE STEM FAILURE!

DON'T GET A TOAD FLAT THIS POST IS SPECIFICALLY TO ADDRESS USING TPMS SENSORS ON YOUR TOWED (TOAD) VEHICLE - NOT YOUR RV (hence the reason this is posted in the TOAD VEHICLES sub-forum)! MOUNTING TPMS SENSORS ON RUBBER VALVE STEMS CAN CAUSE THEM TO FAIL! IN FACT, MANY TOP MANUFACTURERS...

    TPMS Recommendation

Well we will see how this works. Don’t have high hopes but will try. Select TPMS then OK for 5-10 secs you get this program screen. Luckily I have a diagnostic tool to get the TPMS codes from the Ford. We’ll see…

    TPMS Recommendation

I programmed the Ford TPMS sensors into the DutchStar unit. Easy enough however the sensors did not register correctly in the Dash unit AND the Ford is no longer seeing the TPMS sensors😢 As usual I just created more work for myself to get back to zero.🤬🤬

    E450 valve stem extensions

...I had extenders on my 2020 Newmar with bad results. Got the 1 piece versions and no more leaks. They can supply you with longer valves for the fronts as well. TPMS is another story, I believe you get what you pay for on those, but I wouldnt run a RV down the road without them.

    E450 valve stem extensions

Thanks, that's the exact feedback i'm looking for. OK, i'll scrap those cheap tpms units. Thanks for the link. Yeah, seems like they are all garbage. if it makes it easier to fill up, but leak, it's useless in the long run.

TPMS readings vs tire gauge: an analysis

...tire pressure check. The coach had been sitting for several months due to the pandemic, so I was curious what I would find. We use an EEZ Tire TPMS unit, so I switched it on and let it find all the tires. It was a perfect day to do this; cloudy and in the mid-60s. I checked the tire...

Valor vs EEZ TPMS for TOAD...

The 2020’s have the internal Valor (internal to the tire) TPMS. It displays directly on the dash. I read on another forum that someone had it installed on his Jeep Cherokee, and connected to his coach dash so all tires can be monitored. He had the Valor rep meet him in Nappanee to program it...

Dream Internet and Wi-Fi setup for a RV?

...setup? I have a couple of Bluetooth speakers build in and they work great without any additional equipment but that's not the case with my TPMS sensors on the toad when I am towing that. I had to mount a Bluetooth repeater back in the chassis battery compartment to reliably get the signal...

    TPM sensor installation

...a little and then short burst to release pressure just until my digital readout hits the top end of desired pressure. I find that as soon as I get to the desired pressure there is another short burst left before it changes by -1psi, that usually allows for getting the TPMS on at the right...

    TPMS Recommendation

...A new favorite phrase of mine, “simple is not easy, simple is hard”. I would like to keep things simple. In this example would like to have ALL TPMS sensors on a single unit in the coach. But this is not easy. So I have resigned myself to having the coach TPMS on the Bendix built-in unit and...
