I’m in the market for a solar panel to keep my travel trailer battery topped off when not being used. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    Extended battery

How does your fridge operate? Is it 120 V and Propane? If it will run on Propane, simply add a portable solar panel to keep the battery charged and keep the propane level up as required.

    Help finding a toy hauler....PLEASE

...pulling our hair out trying to find the right toy hauler for us. We really liked the 27' Ember, in terms of insulation, heat, build quality & solar options, but they put the bathroom in back with cuts access in half, so our UTV won't fit. We liked ATC, but they have no insulation. We have...

Question Isolating coach batteries from house batteries.

...alternator holds your chassis at a high voltage… it can’t sense the need to tie them. It kinda needs one to be high and one to be low. I find Solar keep our house too high for the alternator to tie our regular BIM… again UNLESS…someone steps back and makes microwave popcorn while I’m...

CA strikes again with CARB ACT

There is a lot more farmland lost to growing ethanol than solar or wind. And many solar and wind installations are installed on non productive land.

How To Replace a summer loop pump in a ITR OASIS Hydronic heater

No. I think I paid 250/ea from ITR but I'd get the ones from US Solar or wherever it was, discussed on this site, for far cheaper, same pump, despite ITR says it's not.

MOD My new solar boondocking toy!

My wife Cindy and I have been RVing for over 25 years owning three different motorhomes with solar panels on the roof. Can’t find pre-wired solar connection

We just bought a new 2021 Coachmen Chaparral 373MBRB that is pre-wired for rooftop solar. We see the connection on the roof, but cannot find the other end of the wires and/or the charge controller. Any suggestions?

    Question Solar install

With knowing solar, lithium, and the electronics that make the technology work is moving fast to obsolescence. I question the validity of the debate at all. That said my system ROI was 6 months on my first system. The ROI on my current system,(having the learning curve behind me), was 3...

    solar/inverter/autoswitch set up.

So I have a fifth wheel that has a built in generator, had it installed at the dealer when it was new. I want to put in a solar set up with an inverter and auto switch so I don't have to run the generator as much when dry camping. Because of the built in generator there is already an auto switch...

    Lithium Battery Package

So Educate me here as I am not familiar with the gen delete option. Assume this means no generator. How much solar do you have? What happens if you have no sun or minimal sun and you are boondocking?

Alert Newmar dealer meeting (2026 models) underway

I never had a problem with my Magnum inverter. The technology is just not there, quite lacking. Victron offers modern technology features which is nice and is powering solar grids and much more beyond RV's.

    Charged batteries not delivering power?

No display at the sink, so it must be between the batteries and the shunt. Maybe a main circuit breaker at the batteries, or the connections at, or close to the batteries. From your description that's my best guess.
