    92D190V Electrical Questions

I have a 200W Renogy solar kit I'm thinking on adding to help with topping off the couch battery and running things during the day. I've read where adding a LI battery and DC-DC charger with mppt would be the way to go for this option. Keeping the Solar an independent system that I can "switch"...

Uber kudos to Solar Energy Systems - Indiana

...at some future date pick up 4 more Victron 330ah batteries that I'm prewired for as the price dropped significantly this year. All is great. Please consider using Solar Energy Systems in Nappanee, IN for your solar, battery, etc. needs. Outstanding service and support! https://sesindiana.com/

    Batteries for my Solar Panel

I'm totally confused about what I should do. Should I buy one 200ah Lithium battery or two 100ah Lithium batteries. My fridge is 12volt only. The solar panel is 165watt and the solar charger controller is an Furrion MPPT 25A. Also are these difficult to install ? Thanks

    Solar, internet and cabinets

Assuming a rig is prepped for solar, is it cheaper/better to buy a rig with a solar package installed already, or to buy one without it (which seems to be cheaper normally) and buy an aftermarket/manufacturer package and install afterwards? If the latter, what are some good solar systems/brands...

    Battery solar charger

I'm wondering if there is a true solar charger for an rv battery that charges by the sun and doesn't have to be plugged into the pickup cigarette portal.

    Advice to Upgrade House Batteries

Hi Everyone. New to this forum. I bought a new KZ Durango Gold G382MBF fifth wheel last year, 2025 year model. It came with a solar package that has 2x 200watt solar panels, a 30A MPPT solar charge controller and a 2000 watt sine wave inverter. To be honest, I don't really know what any of that...

R1T and Pebble Flow - First Journey

So, during winter storage, do you keep the trailer plugged into a L2 charger, use the L1 charger, etc.? If garaged (?) I assume the solar is no help for trickle charging to keep the batteries alive.

Question Portable Solar Generator - Bluetti

I have a Keystone Fusion Toy Hauler, and want to install solar. A Bluetti AC300 with two batteries and solar panels providing 24kwh when fully charged is about half the cost of a hard solar system install. Does anyone have any experience with the Bluetti and will it provide for my needs the...

CA strikes again with CARB ACT

    Alert Battleborn battery safety alert

I went with reviews by people that actually use the batteries. Solar forums are full of them. I got a cheap Chinese battery for less then $200 when BB was $840+. It has been great. Now, I use my battery about like Neal, but that is about to change. I am heading to the Q next week and I have put...

    Question Adding/using Solar

Just looked at a 2019 Sporstcoach srs365 RB that I am in the process of buying. I found a receptacle on the side that says "SOLAR". Do I have to add anything if I want to buy a panel? I've heard about control panels and that, but never paid much attention. Not that we do a lot of boondocking...

    Solar Update

So here is my story and I'm sticking to it. This year has been interesting on the solar front for me. The amount of solar I have installed has gone up and down through the years. I started with one 230 watt panel many years ago. Then it went to 1150 a few years later. I kept that for about 5...
