And, at the same time those same insurance companies were paying big dollars for all the RV fires cause by propane absorption refrigerators. Nothing rivals the risk associated with using propane in an RV.
Could be. There was a video somewhere explaining the new suspension. It sounded like there was some new technology there that would be added to the higher end coaches in future year. Unfortunately, I cannot find it now. Maybe @Neal can ask at the event.
The new V Series suspension is on the 2024 Newmar Ventana and Kountry Star only. Darn.
And with all the comparisons made between the Spartan and FreightLiner chassis nobody is really talking about the significant technologies now found in Optiview and DriveTech. Features not available on the...
I totally agree. So many unexpected things can happen when you are in a remote area all alone. I predict in time technologies like Starlink and solar hybrid RV systems will increase the movement to boondock. So much better than a KOA.
I think these pumps are magnetic drive. Here is a good source to understand these pumps. In motor homes they operate continuously to provide "always hot" water. I wonder if it would be a good idea to use a cabin motion sensing switch to turn on the pump anytime motion is sensed in the cabin? I...
Pump is rated at 20,000 hours which is 833 days. I seem to recall there is a way to turn it off with the coach is otherwise powered. I only ran my Summer loop only when the boiler was actually making hot water. Never had a failure.
Really not talked about much but at the end of the pandemic 1.2 million people were dead and over 5 million people left the workforce in some cases associated with the long term effects of COVID. In short the US workforce experienced a dramatic reduction that then forced all sorts of supply...
Clearly you are advantaged owning a Class A if you know how to fix it, carry spares and regularly participate in forums like this where you can crowd source a problem and have 10 people helping to find a solutions. Owning a Class A without participation in an owner's forum is a ticket to...
And is it possible this happens after a long period of inactivity with the coolant draining away from the pump? I wonder how long it can run before failure trying to prime a system that has been drained of coolant over time.
Any theories about why these pumps fail so often?
We have these pumps moving hot coolant in an enclosed space with no air circulation. I wonder if it would be a good idea to always operate the pumps with the Oasis cover off for air circulation?
I agree with your observations. The entire system seems to be "overdone".
In their defense they said the project was carried out without any significant alteration of the stock 12 volt system in the coach. Everything added was in support of creating a "lithium battery generator system" for the...
I sold my 2018 New Aire myself using RV trader. I could never be a salesman. It is hard work.
I was absolutely amazed how many people inquired about my NA without doing any serious homework. Many wanted me to "sell" them about why they should buy a New Aire. Many had not even looked at a New...
Interesting video posted a few days ago by Master Tech RV about a 48 volt hybrid lithium system installed in a New Aire.
ro
I called Master Tech for more details. Net system weight for this conversion (48 volt lithium batteries, 48 volt alternator, two Victron inverters and a lot of solar on the...
The answer to this question is complicated and really depends on your primary area of operation. I had a Class A until two years ago. The diesel chassis worked relatively well. Then for the last 2 years I have been pulling around a 25' Airstream with a gas hybrid F-150 PowerBoost.
I operate...
I am not sure what to make of the information Brett shared. Maybe it will reveal in the next two videos. But I really like the fact he is sharing this kind of information and analysis with his customers.
I suspect if more dealers followed the NIRVC playbook more people would consider Class A...
