hello to all we are the new owners of the 05 american coach 40J, awning was working fine and for no apparent reason it just stopped of course while extended. Myself and a licensed electrician has confirmed switch is working correctly, power on fuse in fuse panel is at 13v output and motor works as we retracted with jumper directly to motor. Had to replace the motor cover due to severe oxidation on emerg terminals and they were broken. After replacement of motor cover still no power and their service manual is of no major help at all. It is acting like there is a relay somewhere in this circuit preventing power to the switch. Note the awning will not extend if the slide is out awning must be delpoyed first then the slide out {per carefree safety to prevent damage to the fascia trim} So this leads us to believe there is some sort of either a relay or safety sensor tied into this circuit, and we cannot fin anything anywhere. Wiring diagrams show nothing. I am asking this group has anyone had the same bizarre behavior and revrv tech support has offerdd no help at all. thank you all in advance for your assistance.
