Hello,

My RV is a 30amp 2018 Kingsport and is connected to Shore power(only the microwave and half the lights work).

None of the 12V components seems to be working with a brand new battery hooked up? Any Ideas

Attached is a picture of the Converter I believe the capacitors are blown.

I will be replacing the Converter and the Current limiters but have no clue of what could be causing the issue.

Any other Ideas of what could be causing none of the 12V components

to work.

Thanks.

would the converter being bad cause all of the 12v components not to work even with a new battery hooked up?
or is there another issues?

Yup! Looks like the two caps on the top may have given up the ghost! BUT WHY!

Few questions!
Are the lights that don't work LEDs?
If yes! Make sure you didn't wire the polarity wrong on the batteries!

Given time, we should be able to get you back on the road!

The Lights that dont work are the LEDs,
Also the AC thermostat, Fridge, Water Pump, Slides are getting not power.
Battery is wired correctly.

The answer to if the converter is bad will the system as a whole fail? Short answer? Yes if it is blowing fuses because the capacitors shorted out! Disconect the hot lead from the convert, check the fuses, and see if things start working.
