One of the first things we look at in our dealer is the sellers ownership papers. Registration (even expired) and the title proves ownership. No docs, no deal. We never get involved in a deal where ownership has any question at all.
To us neither age, condition, options or great deal ever outweighs paperwork issues.
Thank you,
thanks, yes the DMV here said walk away.. can be a mess.

Ahhhhhhh no title..???? Doesn't know if everything works ? Is that $9,500.00 to good to be true. Something stinks in Denmark.... Say no thank you.
thanks! I agree and so does DMV here in NY. he said no leaks or delamination, I highly doubt that given the year 1996.

Ultimately, the DMV is where you will end up. If the state says no, that's great advice. The market is growing all the time. Plenty of units available without knowingly walking into a problem.
Let us know how we can help.
