Greetings from Kerrville TX!! My very first post because of the magnitude of what happened to us and the hydraulic levelers!
Last year one of the jacks didn’t go all the way up hence the alarm stayed on constantly after adding fluid I had leaks from 3 of the 4 cylinders finding that they were all busted. I did research and found that the original makers of these 2002 jacks were long gone out of business and after intensive searching realized that they weren’t originally build to repair, only cutting them apart welding back could they work again! - and finding anyone that would do that wasn’t good.
I searched for ANY company that offered repair options and happened on a large company in Florida that actually made huge hydraulic systems for the military and NASA. Totally not thinking that this large group would even bother fixing RV levelling cylinders, I found that on one page buried in their website there was a paragraph about reverse engineering cylinders… even for out-of-date Winnebagos!
I called and talked to a guy named Steve who said they could do that for me. End result… last week we changed out the cylinders and I have brand new leveling jacks!!
Check out Mercury Hydraulics, on Space Coast!
