Hello, I am experiencing a whistleing noise with my 8.9L cummins engine 2006 400hp.
It seems when i engage the exhaust brake an extreme whistle starts to sound.
At first i thought maybe an exhaust leak so i looked and found that the coupling for the 4" exhaust showed some blackness so i replaced that since it was the cheapest way to go. after putting the new coupling on i took it for a drive and it was much quieter but when i engaged the exhaust braake there it was again.
Anyone have any idea of the issue?
Thanks Elmer.
