Greetings. I just brought home my older Roadtrek (Chevy 2500) and it feels like I'm at sea. I'd appreciate any recomendations/opinions given! Thanks.

I have a Chevrolet Express 3500 Roadtrek 190p that I bought a few weeks ago. It spent it's life in Virginia so has the typical Virginia issues. I have the time to do maintenance/upgrades on it before heading traveling next spring. I was unhappy with the front nose dive and the bottoms of the shocks were rusty so I replaced the front and rear with Bilstein's I bought from Rock Auto at $93 each. Have them installed but havent driven yet as I'm replacing the 4 calipers and associated brake lines.

Have you done any changes on your suspension yet?

I also bought some Bilstein's for my 92 Dodge 190V based on all the recommendations from my researching the subject. Haven't put them on yet as I'm also tracking down other suspension parts so I can do it all at the same time.

O2C200P. The biggie so far was rear leaf springs, big job, gained less than 1/2 inch in height. I have never been a fan of Bilstein shocks but they do make a noticeable difference in handling and ride. Biggest difference in handling was replacing the aftermarket aluminum rims with factory steel. I have the new front coil springs sitting in the garage and looking for bushings and ball joints to install when I feel like it. Neither the springs or the bushings are broken or bad but they have been sitting with thousands of pounds on them for a couple decades. Good luck
